Abstract: This paper summarizes the theoretical mechanism of decision fatigue, reviews the different fields, subjects, and evaluation tools for the decision fatigue of surrogate decision-makers, and points out the importance of preventing or alleviating decision fatigue for them, in order to provide a scientific theoretical basis and a new perspective for the construction of a healthy medical decision-making system.
