Abstract: Resistiveness to care in dementia patients is a psycho-behavioral reaction closely related to caregiving activities. Understanding this behavior and developing corresponding intervention measures is of great practical significance for dementia care. This paper systematically introduces the concept and behaviors of resistiveness to care, its causes and consequences, commonly used assessment tools and intervention strategies, to provide reference for long-term care of dementia patients.
