Abstract: The article reviewed the current related studies on indwelling PICC in lower extremity venous in infants. Its clinical characteristics and effects were introduced from the aspects of application, insertion process, catheter related complications and influence factors in order to provide evidence and reference to PICC insertion for newborns.
