Abstract: Objective: To investigate the effects of multidisciplinary team-based early rehabilitation model in patients with extensive burns. Methods: Totally 104 cases of patients with extensive burns were enrolled and grouped into control group and intervention group using convenience sampling method. Results: There were significant differences between two groups in hospital stay, medical expenses, the ADL and the quality of life between two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion: Multidisciplinary team-based early rehabilitation model can improve the quality of life and rehabilitation for patients with extensive burns.
