Abstract: Objective: To construct the prehabilitation program for surgical patients with lumbar degenerative diseases based on the concept of Enhanced Recovery After Surgery. Methods: The prehabilitation program was designed by the researchers on the basis of literature review and group discussion. Two rounds of experts consultation were conducted with 13 experts using the Delphi expert consultation method. Results: The active coefficient of experts in both rounds of expert consultation was 100.0% respectively. The ratio of experts who provided opinions was 76.9%. The authority coefficient of experts was 0.87. The final preoperative prehabilitation program included 3 primary items (exercise, nutritional support, and psychological intervention), 9 secondary items, and 25 tertiary items. Conclusion: The preoperative prehabilitation program is reliable and practical. It is expected to provide theoretical basis for better clinical practice to accelerate rehabilitation for surgical patients with lumbar degenerative diseases.
