Abstract: At present, the issue of employment suitability for undergraduate students majoring in nursing in private colleges and universities is becoming increasingly prominent. Against the backdrop of the rapid development of China's health industry and the transformation of the nursing sector, this article systematically analyzes the prominent problems in the cultivation of undergraduate nursing students in private colleges under the new emerging business forms, as well as the core opportunities and prominent challenges in their employment. It proposes targeted strategies from the aspects of broadening employment channels and expanding job demands, and deepening the teaching reform of nursing education, to provide references for the reform of undergraduate nursing education in private colleges and the career planning of students, and to help achieve a positive connection between the supply and demand of nursing talents.
