Practice of exercise rehabilitation of patients after Percutaneous Coronary Intervention carried out in the specialist nursing clinic

Abstract: Objective: To evaluate the effects of exercise rehabilitation in patients after Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) in specialist nursing clinics, so as to provide reference for the construction of specialist nursing clinic. Methods: In June 2023, our hospital opened a cardiac rehabilitation specialist nursing clinic, providing services such as exercise risk assessment, exercise prescription establishment, simulated exercise practice guidance, outpatient MDT, family participation in multiple health education, follow-up and home exercise supervision. The changes in rehabilitation exercise knowledge, belief and behavior, exercise ability and satisfaction before and after the opening of the outpatient clinic were compared. Results: After the opening of specialist nursing clinic, the scores of exercise knowledge, belief and action, Peak VO2, Peak METs and satisfaction were higher than those before the opening (P<0.05). Conclusion: The specialist nursing clinic can improve the rehabilitation exercise knowledge and practice level of patients after PCI, improve the exercise ability of patients, and enhance the medical experience of patients.
