Abstract: Objective: To investigate the current status of Post-Traumatic Growth of adolescent patients with malignant tumors and analyze its influencing factors. Methods: A questionnaire survey was conducted on 248 adolescent patients with malignant tumors using a survey scale of demographic and disease-related data, and Post Traumatic Growth Inventory (PTGI). Results: 41.13% of adolescents with malignant tumors reported significant growth. The average score of PTGI was 2.62±1.06. Multiple linear regression analysis demonstrated that the age at diagnosis, place of residence, disease type, and disease duration were the influencing factors of Post-Traumatic Growth (R2adj=0.197, F=34.349, P<0.001). Conclusion: Adolescent malignant tumor patients have Post-Traumatic Growth, which still needs to be improved. Medical professionals should guide patients to explore positive psychology, improve the level of Post-Traumatic Growth, and promote the physical and mental health of adolescent patients with malignant tumor.
