Abstract: This study proposed a logical model for building dementia friendly agencies based on the synthesis of existing literature and current practice in the U.S.A. The framework is applied in case analyses of hospitals and nursing homes in China. In hospital and long-term care settings, improving physical and social environment so that patients with dementia can receive person-centered medical and personal care is the key to dementia friendly agency construction.
