Abstract: Objective: To investigate the effects of the nursing interventions based on Transtheoretical Model and stages of change on non-pharmaceutical fatigue mangement among Systemic Lupus Erythematosus patients. Methods: 95 cases of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus patients were randomly divided into study group (49 cases) and control group (46 cases). Patients in the control group were treated with routine nursing intervention, and the patients in study group received nursing interventions according to the stages of fatigue management. Results: After 3 months of intervention, the scores of fatigue, physical fatigue, self efficacy among patients in the intervention group was (6.19±1.96), (3.24±1.31), and (3.31±1.34),respectively.None was in the precontemplation stage. Five patients were in the contemplation stage. Eight patients were in the preparation stage. Twenty-seven patients were in the action stage. Nine patients were in the maintenance stage. The difference has statistical significance compared with the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The nursing interventions based on Transtheoretical Model and stages of change could improve Systemic Lupus Erythematosus patients' fatigue and self efficacy level.
