Abstract: Objective: To conduct experimental study to explore the effects of death education in nurses. Methods: A controlled study was performed in nurses of an Emergency Department to examine the effectiveness and feasibility of the death education curriculum plan. Results: After the education, the nurses in experimental group had lower scores in two domains,including fear of death, and death avoidance, and higher scores in natural acceptance and approach acceptation than that of control group. Conclusion: The curriculum could positively influence the death attitudes of nurses.
