Abstract: Objective: To introduce the experience of Rukang salon on the group intervention for breast cancer patients.Methods: Rukang salon established by Breast Center of Beijing Tiantan hospital is a patient-club for breast cancer patients. Its primary activity was group psychological intervention, combined with volunteer group support. They set up multiple physicianpatient communication platform, including various health education process, peer group activities, web and hotline consultation,to provide continuous, systematic group mental intervention for breast cancer patients. Results: The intervention relieved patients' psychological distress and promoted their posttraumatic growth. Conclusion: The practice of Rukang salon could be used for reference on the design and implementation of group mental intervention.
