Abstract: The article provides the accreditation information for the certification of clinical nurse specialists (CNS)in acute care in the United States. It focuses on the agencies of the accreditation, the accreditation processes such as eligibility requirements, examination forms, exam contents, and certification renewal. We expect that the information and experiences abroad could benefit to the training and accreditation of CNS in acute care in China.
