Abstract: Objective: To improve nurses' intention to stay. Methods: Construction of support system between nursing colleagues, hierarchical training, psychological support, "Mentors system for nurses within three years", "Secret Angel in action"were carried out to improve nurses' intention. Results: After two years of implementation, we compared nurses' intent to stay and nurse satisfaction to the nursing work before and after implementation, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01).Nurse's turnover rate reduced from 7.8% in 2011 to 3.6% in 2013. Conclusions: The construction of colleague support system may improve the nurses' job satisfaction and nurses' intention to stay, and reduce their turnover rate.
