Abstract: In this paper, the current situation of experiential childbirth-simulation education (ECSE) was systematically reviewed, including the theories, practices, contents and effects of this kind of prenatal education. The authors also summarized existing problems and provided suggestions on the future development of ECSE, which provided reference information for the optimization and upgrading of ECSE to improve the effects of prenatal education and the quality of obstetric services.
