Abstract: Objective: To explore the current status and influencing factors of quality of working life among nurses in emergency department. Methods: A total of 211 emergency nurses from 7 tertiary general hospitals in Jiangsu province were recruited and investigated by Work Quality of Life Scale and Resilience Scale. Results: The mean score of quality of working life and resilience was 95.61±15.20 and 54.98±12.10, respectively. Both were lower than the average level. And resilience and emergency working years were correlated with quality of working life and could explain 40.6% variation of quality of working life. Conclusions: Resilience could significantly affect quality of working life of nurses. Nursing managers could improve quality of working life of emergency nurses by increasing their resilience.
