Abstract: Objective: To explore the self-efficacy level and its influencing factors among convalescent burn patients.Methods: Totally 170 convalescent burn patients were recruited and investigated by General Information Questionnair,General Self-Efficacy Scale, Social Support Rating Scale, and Abbreviated Specific Burn health scale. Results: The mean score of general self-efficacy among convalescent burn patients was 22.19±5.27, which was significantly related with social support, quality of life and each dimension of quality of life (P<0.01). The influencing factors were gender, educational level, subjective support, support utilization, and physical function. Conclusions: The general self-efficacy among convalescent burn patients is not optimistic. We should take effective measures to enhance the patients' self-efficacy level,mobilize social resource, train the patients of their physical function, in order to improve the patients' quality of life.
