Abstract: Objective: To investigate the current status and influencing factors of Posttraumatic Growth (PTG) among spouses of productive age women with cervical cancer and hysterectomy. Methods: Ninety-seven spouses of productive age women with cervical cancer and hysterectomy were investigated using Posttraumatic Growth Inventory (PTGI), Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS) and Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire (SCSQ). Results: The total score of PTGI was(60.80±5.37), which was in the medium level. Objective support, positive coping postoperative time and treatment method of the spouses were influencing factors of PTG, which explained 74.9% of the variance of PTG. Conclusion: Nursing staff should strengthen the education of disease cognition among spouses of productive age women with cervical cancer and hysterectomy, and guide them according to their utilization of social support, coping style, and the different ways of treatment to improve their posttraumatic growth.
