Abstract: This study follows the principles of evidence-based, from the perspective of patients, use language that is easier for patients to comprehend, offer a scientific, effective and evidenced based guideline for patients. This guideline provides informational education to all diabetic patients, improves ability of self management and compliance to ulcer presentation measures, ultimately reduces the rate of foot ulcer and amputation, reduces the cost of medical treatment,eventually to improve patients' quality of life. This paper discusses the necessity and the plan of development of the guideline, which includes the detail process of the guideline, therefore, provides clinical reference not only for diabetic patients but also for other type of diseases.
