The analysis of the status quo and influencing factors of volume management in patients with Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD)

Abstract: Objective: To explore the status quo and influencing factors of volume management in patients with (CAPD). Methods: Totally 146 patients were investigated and clinically follow-up regularly with general information questionnaire and Volume Management Scale. Results: The total score of patients' volume management ability was(17.38±3.79). Multiple linear regression analysis showed that gender, education level and occupation status were influencing factors of volume management ability (P<0.05). Conclusion: CAPD patients' volume management ability should be improved. Nurses should promote patients′ volume management ability according to different gender, education level and occupation status.
