Abstract: Objective: To investigate the present situation and influencing factors of medication belief in patients with Cerebral Infarction accepted secondary prevention. Methods: 326 Cerebral Infarction patientsaccepted secondary preventionwere questionnaired by the Cerebral Infarction patients basic information questionnaire and medication beliefs scale. Results: The total score of medication belief was (6.44±1.77) in infarction patients accepted secondary prevention, and the score of necessity belief (16.27±1.92) was significantly higher than the concern belief (9.83±1.69). There were significant difference in the patients with different sex, culture degree, family income, NIHSS, hemiplegia, aphasia, stroke frequency, duration of medication, drug side effectsin infarction patients accepted secondary prevention (P<0.001). Multiple linear regression analysis showed,stroke frequency, NIHSS, drug side effects, hemiplegia, aphasia, family income, sex were influencing factors of medication belief in patients with Cerebral Infarction accepted secondary prevention. Conclusions: The level of medication belief was in the low level in patients with Cerebral Infarction accepted secondary prevention, and stroke frequency, NIHSS, drug side effects, hemiplegia,aphasia, family income, sex were influencing factors of medication belief.
