Abstract: Objective: To translate the Clinical Learning Environment, Supervision and Nurse Teacher Evaluation Scale and test its reliability and validity. Methods: The Chinese version of Clinical Learning Environment, Supervision and Nurse Teacher Evaluation Scale was developed based on strict principle of translation, back- translation and cross-cultural adaptation.The reliability and validity were tested among 345 nursing students. Results: The content validity index (CVI) was 0.886,which indicated a desirable content validity. The coefficient of Cronbach's α was 0.945 and the test-retest reliability was 0.793.Conclusion: The Chinese version of Clinical Learning Environment, Supervision and Nurse Teacher Evaluation Scale has been proved to be valid and reliable. It is a valuable tool for evaluating the level of clinical learning environment.
