Abstract: Objective: To explore the effect of multimedia combined with physical mold health education in patients with painless abortion.Methods: Totally 700 outpatients with painless abortion from January to October, 2013 were divided into control group and study group. Both groups underwent routine health education, while the study group added multimedia combined with physical mold health education.We investigated the service effects of both groups. Results: We compared relevant knowledge awareness, overall satisfaction with the service, adherence to the proper usage of contraceptive measures after 3 months, and repeat abortion rate after 6 months between the two groups, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.01). Conclusion: Multimedia combined with physical mold health education could improve patients' compliance behavior and understanding of relevant knowledge, contribute to the implementation of effective contraceptive measures immediately, reduce repeat abortion rate, enhence women's reproductive health, improve their quality of life, and their satisfaction with services.
