Abstract: Objective: To develop core knowledge on nosocomial infection training for nursing students before practice. Methods: Delphi method with two rounds consultation by 30 experts was used to establish nosocomial infection training core knowledge hierarchy. Results: The experts' positive coefficients of two rounds were 83.3% and 86.7% respectively. The experts authority coefficients were 0.90 and 0.91 respectively. The Kendall's W of two level indexes were 0.37 and 0.35 respectively. The core knowledge hierarchy on nosocomial infection training included 8 first grade indexes, 50 second grade indexes. Conclusion:The nosocomial infection prevention core knowledge hierarchy is reliable and valid to provide guidance and reference for the nursing students' training before practice.
