Abstract: In order to explore the research status on family caregiver burden scale for cancer patients, this paper analyzed several kinds of family caregiver burden scale which were widely used in this area since 2000. These scales included Zarit Caregiver Burden Interview(ZBI), Caregiver Strain Index, (CSI), Caregiver Reaction Assessment (CRA), Caregiver Burden Inventory (CBI). We should use a mixed method including qualitative and quantitative approaches to develop a caregiver burden scale for cancer patients in Chinese cultural context.
