Abstract: Objective: To discuss the effect of the CBL based stage teaching model in clinical practice nursing students.Methods: A total of 71 nursing students in neurological department during 2013 July to 2014 June were selected as the control group, while the 80 students during 2014 July to 2015 June were included in the observational group. The traditional one to one teaching method was adopted in the control group, while the observational group followed the 4 stages of "CBL teaching path" to complete the teaching. Results: High quality nursing service awareness, theoretical score, student teaching rounds score, teaching satisfaction and quality control results in the observational group were better than those in the control group (P<0.01). Conclusion:Clinical teaching based on the "CBL teaching path" could make students better understand the connotation of high quality care, which is benefit to the combination of theory and practice, could stimulate the students’ learning interest and improve the comprehensive quality of nursing students.
