Abstract: Objective: To investigate the current status of capacity management among continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) patients in Henan province, and to explore its influencing factors. Methods: We investigated 255 peritoneal dialysis patients in outpatient clinic using general information questionnaire and peritoneal dialysis capacity management scale.Results: The mean score of capacity management scale among peritoneal dialysis patients was 13.91±4.08 in Henan province.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that gender, living environment and operation style entered the regression equation.Conclusion: The capacity management level among peritoneal dialysis patients is not optimistic in Henan province. Medical staff should take targeted measures according to different gender, living environment and operation style to improve the capacity management level and quality life of the patients.
