Abstract: Objective: To introduce of the experience of nursing management organizational reform. Methods: The authors reviewed their hospital nursing management organization reform process from September 2012 to December 2013 based on learning experience from Taiwan. They compared the satisfaction and turn-over rate of nurses before and after the reform.Results: After the nursing management organization reform, nurses' satisfaction improved while their turnover rate decreased,the differences were statistically significant. Conclusions: Restructuring of nursing management organization and involving firstline nursing staff in nursing management could improve the efficiency of nursing management, increase the enthusiasm, sense of identity and belonging to the hospital, and then improve the nursing care quality.
