Abstract: The new concept of postoperative pain management includes multimodal analgesia, preemptive analgesia and individualized analgesia. In western countries, the principal part of postoperative pain management nowadays has converted from doctors to nurses. Besides, the assessment of postoperative pain had become one of a routine part in postoperative management.What's more, the technology of PDA and wireless remote pain surveillance system have made the pain management even more efficient and and individualized, all of which promotes the satisfaction of patients, as well as decreases the work of medical care staff.
