Abstract: Standard nursing techniques are an important guarantee for the safe use of implantable venous access ports. In 2023, the Chinese Nursing Association released the association standard of nursing care for implantable venous access ports, which standardizes the core processes and key points of implantable venous access ports nursing techniques. This article provides a brief interpretation of the core points in this association standard, in order to promote the homogenization of the techniques and advance the professionalization of intravenous therapy.
