Abstract: The pain belief and cognitive ability of patients with chronic pain can affect their coping style and quality of life. This paper reviewed the research instruments for chronic pain patients and the intervention measures of pain belief. Intervention measures included cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and Stanford self-management mode. It is expected to provide information for nursing staff to improve patients’ cognition of pain, ability of self-management and quality of life.
