Abstract: Objective: To investigate the status and influencing factors of nurses' job satisfaction in provincial hospitals in Zhejiang province. Methods: The self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate 1 210 nurses from 16 tertiary grade A provincial hospitals. The influencing factors of nurses' job satisfaction were analyzed by non-conditional Logistic regression. Results: The average score of nurses' job satisfaction was 4.15±0.61, the working atmosphere and employee relationship dimension scored the highest, and the job content and performance evaluation dimension scored the lowest. Analysis of influence factors found that women had higher satisfaction than men. The longer working years, the higher satisfaction level. The formal nurses had higher satisfaction than the contract nurses. Nurses working in the hospital of traditional Chinese medicine had higher job satisfaction than nurses from other types of hospital. Conclusion: The nurses' job satisfaction in Zhejiang provincial hospitals was at a high level. Nurse management department should pay more attention to young, short working years, low professional titles, and contract nurses, and improve nurses' remuneration and job satisfaction.
