Abstract: Objective: To establish an informatized nursing quality management model and explore its application effects. Methods: The 360-Degree Information-Based Management Mode was established from the following aspects, quantifying the problems in quality of care by expert consultations and risk priority numbers (RPN, Risk Priority Number), refining sensitive indicators of nursing quality, and reforming the traditional single-item and periodic inspection of quality. Results: Total 74 nursing quality problems were found, and 37 sensitive indexes of nursing quality were extracted in the process of this model. Compared with the traditional single-item and regular nursing quality management modes, the nurses participation rate in the first-level quality control increased by 37.9%, the time of nurses spent in one to three level quality control was reduced by 126.095, 142.950, 169.359 hours respectively (P<0.001) in this mode. Conclusions: The 360-Degree Information-Based Management Mode is a standardized and normalized quality management mode. It is the specific practice of TQM theory in nursing quality management, and it is benefit for the improvement of overall nursing quality.
