Abstract: The aim of this study was to review the research progress on the related stigma of dementia, including how it occurs, the tools to measure it, its influences, and how to reduce it. Based on the reflections on the current status and the characteristics of Chinese dementia population, we suggested some possibly useful strategies to reduce related stigma of dementia in China.
