Abstract: Objective: To investigate the current situation of the transition impact on new nurses in emergency department, and analyze the problems in the process of transition. Methods: The Transition Shock of Newly Graduated Nurses Scale was used to investigate the transition impact on 260 emergency nurses in 15 tertiary grade A hospitals of Heilongjiang province. Results: The overall score of transition impact of new nurses in emergency department ranged from 83 to 135, among which the psychological dimension was the highest, the scoring rate was 90.5%. The factors influencing the transition of new nurses in emergency department were gender, native place, working hours and educational background, which can explain 65.7% of the impact of the transformation. Conclusion: The transition shock of the new nurses in the emergency departments was at a higher level, and were influenced by gender, native place, working hours, educational background and so on.
