Abstract: SBAR (Situation-Background-Assessment-Recommendation) is a standardized communication tool to optimize effective nursing communication.This paper summarizes the application status of SBAR in nursing work based on huge amount of literature reviews, including disease reports to MD, change of shift report, patients transfer report, and nursing education. The ultimate goal is too to make the model more widely used in nursing field and improve the quality of nursing.
