Abstract: With the newly issued policies of medical reform, township hospitals will return to its public welfare nature gradually. High level nursing care is needed in township hospitals. However, nursing quality management has revealed some problems which cannot be ignored. In this paper, the authors reviewed the problems and countermeasures of township hospital nursing management in the situation of new medical reform. The aim was to improve the quality of nursing management in township hospitals, accelerate health care reform progress, and to ensure high quality medical care services for rural residents.
