Abstract: Hypertension is affecting a wide range of people, lack of disease management can cause a variety of serious complications, which would be a great burden to the patients, families and the society. Therefore, there is an urgent need for effective self-management support and personalized medical interventions. In this article, the concept of self-management, the impact factors, and intervention strategies were discussed, in order to provide references for further research on self-management in patients with hypertension.
