Abstract: With the increase of aging population and care burden, the incidence of elder abuse is rising. Elder abuse has attracted more and more attention in the whole society. In this review, the authors summarized the tools forelder abuse assessment and analyzed the influence factors of elder abuse. It could provide a reference fordeveloping local assessment tools in China to predict the elder abuse events, and then effective interventions could be formulated and implemented to increase the elder's care quality.
