Abstract: We applied Mini-Clinical Evaluation Exercise (Mini-CEX) into midwifery training and teaching program. Midwifery Mini-CEX is created as an objective evaluation tool based on competency diversification. It could comprehensively evaluate midwives' ability for clinical practice and is congruent with modern midwifery professional ability requirements. During the implementation process, it could also benefit both teaching and learning, and provide a new idea and model to further explore a suitable teaching and evaluation method for midwifery clinical practice.
