Abstract: Objective: To explore the training mode for master of professional degree of Nurse Practitioner (NP) in China. Methods: Based on the education philosophy of "trinity, medical cooperation and innovative interdisciplinary training", the training mode for master of professional degree of NP in noncommunicable diseases management was developed by the action research method. Results: The training mode included the localized curriculum, the clinical practice program and the quality management system, and positive effects have been achieved. Conclusion: This training mode is with clear training objectives and education philosophy, distinct curriculum and clinical practice program, and sound quality management system, which can provide a new idea for the innovation in training advanced nurse practitioners.
