Implementation of evidence-based nursing in patients with head and neck cancer for nutritional screening before operation

摘要: 目的:应用循证护理实践方法,对头颈部恶性肿瘤住院患者术前进行营养风险筛查。方法:本研究根据约翰·霍普金斯护理循证实践模型,将欧洲肠外肠内营养协会(ESPEN)关于肿瘤患者营养筛查的指南证据应用于某三级甲等肿瘤专科医院头颈外科病房。结果:循证护理实践对护士进行患者术前的营养管理起到了积极的影响,但是仍然有提高的空间。结论:应用循证护理实践方法对头颈部肿瘤住院患者术前进行营养风险筛查,能提高护士对患者围手术期的营养护理管理质量。

Abstract: Objective: To obtain effective nutritional screening for patients with head and neck cancer before operations through implementing evidence-based nursing. Methods: Guidelines and evidences summarized from The European Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ESPEN) on nutritional screening of patients with cancer were applied in the head and neck surgery unit of a certain tertiary Grade A hospital according to the Johns Hopkins Nursing Evidence-based Practice (JHNEBP) model. Results: Evidence-based nursing created positive effects on nutritional nursing management in patients with head and neck cancer before their operations yet with room for improvement. Conclusion: The quality of nutritional nursing management could be refined by carrying out evidence-based nursing in nutritional screening for patients with head and neck cancer before their operations.
