Abstract: Objective: To establish and apply an intelligent scheduling software which could systematically build shift schedule for student nurse and also improve its work efficiency for nurse manager. Methods: We developed an intelligent scheduling software replacing traditional manually conducted scheduling system to meet student nurse's clinical training requirements by syllabus. Results: This intelligent scheduling software could actualize intelligent information management.The system saves time for nursing manager from arranging schedules and meanwhile increases student nurse's satisfaction from training schedule and improves the quality of clinical education. This system also could personalize a schedule for student nurse where applicable. Conclusion: The application of the intelligent scheduling system for student nurse could not only improve the efficiency of scheduling, but also meet the educational requirements by clinical training syllabus. It could promote satisfaction of student nurse training as well as hospital management.
