Abstract: The authors reviewed literatures on Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) of children in PICU; they verified the relationship between PICU hospitalization and child's mental abnormalities. Sometimes, PICU hospitalization even caused PTSD and influenced the life quality of children and the whole family. They summarized the precautions and interventions for PTSD to increase medical staff's attention of children's mental status during PICU hospitalization,furthermore, prevent or decrease the incidence of PTSD.
