Abstract: Nursing Practice Guideline of Acute Heart Failure is the first evidence-based clinical practice recommendation and models of nursing care for Acute Heart Failure patients in China. Nursing practice standards are clearly identified by recommendation opinions and flow charts in the document from rapid assessment, triage, treatment,monitoring, transfer, information providing and follow-up for Acute Heart Failure patients. This nursing practice guideline is a comprehensive and objective document providing resources necessary for clinical nursing decision-making. This editorial has some suggestion for healthcare practices using the recommendations to facilitate multidisciplinary models of care and improve development of evidence-based Acute Heart Failure care.
