老年人心血管疾病预警症状与危险因素认知情况调查分析

Knowledge of stroke and heart attack symptoms and risk factors of older adults

摘要: 目的:调查老年人对心血管疾病(CVD) 预警症状与危险因素认知情况,为老年人心血管疾病预防提供依据。方法:采取自设CVD 预警症状及危险因素知识问卷对在衡阳市南华大学附属第二医院进行健康体检的1120 名老年人进行调查,并对不同人口学特征的研究对象CVD 知识认知得分情况进行分析。结果:老年人的CVD 预警症状及危险因素认知水平较低,对脑卒中及心脏病发作的预警症状的认知平均得分为3.10 分(总分10分);对CVD 危险因素的认知平均得分为4.98 分(总分15分);有心血管疾病老年人对CVD 预警症状及危险因素认知水平高于无心血管疾病老年人(P <0.05)。结论:老年人对心血管疾病预警症状与危险因素认知水平较低,应对受教育水平低及CVD 风险高的老年人积极开展健康教育,提高其对心血管疾病预警症状与危险因素的认知水平。

Abstract: Objective: To determine the level of knowledge of stroke and heart attack (HA) symptoms and risk factors of cardiovascular disease (CVD) in elderly people who are at risk for CVD. Methods: Self-designed knowledge of stroke and heart attack (HA) symptoms and risk factors questionnaires were used to survey the 1120 older adults' knowledge in health examination centers of the second affiliated hospital of University of South China. Results: Knowledge of stroke/heart attack warning signs and CVD risk factors were very poor (average score 3.10/10, 4.98/15). The perception of stroke/heart attack warning signs and CVD risk factors were lower among older adults with no CVD (average score 2.80/10, 4.67/15)than that among older adults with CVD (average score 4.04/10, 5.97/15). The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Educational level and history of CVD was positively correlated with score of CVD knowledge, while age and cardiovascular risk level was negatively correlated with score of CVD knowledge. The differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: Public education programs are needed, which would be designed to help elderly people with low education levels at risk for CVD to improve the awareness of stroke and HA.
