Abstract: Utilizing Risk Assessment Tool for Venous Thromboembolism (VTE),correctly recognize the risk factors and classify the risk factors are vital for prevention of VTE. VET risk assessment tool include group evaluation and individual evaluation. Thrombosis prophylaxis needs to be individualized on the basis of the results of each individual patient in order to achieve individulized preventions. This article will review the current research status for VTE risk assessment tool and further provides reference for the clinical research of this topic.
