Abstract: With the change of medical model, more and more researchers pay attention to palliative care, including the holistic care of physical, psychological, social and spiritual care. The palliative care model puts emphasis on respecting life, improving pateints' quality of life, and helping cancer patients pass through this special period more peacefully. This article summarized the research progress of general situation, methods and effects of palliative care among cancer patients to provide the references for further research.
