Abstract: This paper reviewed the research progress of disinfection method in the daily maintenance process of PICC, such as PICC disinfection site, disinfector choice and disinfection time. We aimed to provide guidance for nurses to prevent bacterial colonization and to establish uniform disinfection procedures and standards.
