Abstract: Sleep disorders are common problems for ICU patients. Valid assessment is the premise of improving sleep quality. Sleep assessment tends to be more complex because of the particularity of ICU patients. In this paper, both the subjective and objective sleep assessment tools and methods were elaborated to provide researchers with scientific guidance for evaluation and management of sleep among ICU patients.
